County Board Chairman Randall Crocker, joined by several local officials, opened the new Franklin County Government Campbell Building on Thursday, June 22nd at 10:00 AM. After the official ribbon cutting, an Open House was held until 1:00 PM so visitors could tour the new facility.

BENTON, IL- The Commander of the St Louis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Colonel Anthony P. Mitchell, made a Command visit to the Rend Lake Project Office and Visitor Center on May 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. for the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding agreement. Congratulations to newly appointed Franklin County Treasurer Keith Jones. Mr. Jones was appointed by the Franklin County Board and sworn in this evening by the Honorable Eric Dirnbeck.

Keith R. Jones, of West Frankfort, has been appointed Franklin County Treasurer. His appointment comes after the resignation of John Gulley who accepted a new post with Rend Lake College.
